Overview
This project deploys dedicated OpenClaw personal AI assistant instances on isolated hardware for two business owners. OpenClaw is an open-source, self-hosted AI assistant framework that runs on your own devices and delivers responses through the communication channels you already use.
The goal is to provide always-available AI guidance tailored to daily business operations. Both end users manage client-facing businesses and regularly deal with time-consuming decision-making, client communication, and operational challenges. A dedicated AI assistant helps them think through problems faster, draft communications, and surface relevant information on demand.
This project is strictly advisory-only. The OpenClaw instances will not take autonomous actions that impact clients. All output is delivered as guidance through standard communication channels (WhatsApp, Slack, or web chat) or published to a lightweight web interface.
Key Concepts
- Self-hosted AI assistant deployment: installing, configuring, and operating OpenClaw on dedicated hardware
- Stakeholder discovery: interviewing end users to identify high-value use cases for AI assistance
- Agent personalization: tailoring system prompts, workspace configuration, and skills to match individual workflows
- Multi-channel delivery: configuring OpenClaw to reach users via their preferred communication surfaces
- Advisory guardrails: scoping agent behavior to guidance-only output with no autonomous client-facing actions
Applied Skills
- OpenClaw installation, configuration, and gateway management on dedicated hardware
- Stakeholder interviewing and use-case identification for AI-assisted workflows
- System prompt design and workspace customization for business-specific contexts
- Multi-channel delivery configuration (WhatsApp, Slack, web chat, or other surfaces)
- Responsible AI scoping: enforcing advisory-only behavior with no autonomous client impact
Deliverables
Two deployed, operational OpenClaw instances running on dedicated hardware, each configured for its end user's specific business context. Demonstrates the full arc from stakeholder discovery through deployment and ongoing operation, with responsible advisory-only scoping.
