Overview
This project creates a web-based video game that gamifies studying for the RAC regulatory exam. The game uses a top-down, Zelda-style format where players navigate an environment and encounter scenarios that test their knowledge of regulatory affairs concepts. Players interact with in-game characters and must apply RAC knowledge in social, interactive contexts.
A stretch goal integrates a generative AI backend to power NPC dialogue, ensuring each interaction is unique and contextually relevant, adding depth and replayability.
Applied Skills
- Web-based game development (frontend frameworks, game loop design)
- Educational content design and gamification strategy
- Generative AI integration for dynamic NPC dialogue (stretch goal)
- Domain expertise application (regulatory affairs knowledge modeling)
Deliverables
A playable web-based educational game that serves as both a study tool for RAC candidates and a portfolio piece demonstrating the intersection of AI, game design, and domain expertise. The generative dialogue component, if implemented, showcases real-time AI content generation in an interactive application.
